Charlize Theron has fueled rumors she and Sean Penn are set to wed.

The 38-year-old actress - who has been romancing the Milk star for eight months - was spotted in Los Angeles International airport on Wednesday sporting a huge diamond ring on her engagement finger, prompting speculation her 53-year-old beau has proposed.

The sighting of the ring comes just a week after it was claimed the pair are planning to tie the knot in the Snow White and the Huntsman star's native South Africa in the coming months. "They want to get married very soon," a source said.

And Charlize - who has two-year-old adopted son Jackson - is reportedly keen to adopt a child with Sean shortly after they've exchanged vows. "Charlize always intended to have another child," the insider added.

Charlize Theron “Didn’t See” Relationship with Sean Penn Coming

Charlize Theron didn't see her relationship with Sean Penn coming.

The South African actress was surprised how her longstanding friendship with the actor and director blossomed into something more last year:

"What I guess I am trying to say is: A friend kind of stepped into that role [of boyfriend], and I really didn't see it coming. Sean and I have known each other for eighteen years. We were just really good friends. And it's been slow going because you are aware that you could screw that up and lose it. It just kind of naturally happened, and before I knew it, I was in something that was making my life better."

However, the 38-year-old star - who was previously in a relationship with the actor Stuart Townsend for nine years until 2010 - warns she's not interested in getting married anytime soon.

Sean Penn Ready to Propose?

Sean Penn is reportedly planning to propose to Charlize Theron.

Friends close to the couple, who began dating at the end of last year and flew to Hawaii to celebrate New Year's Eve together in December, predict the Milk actor and the South African actress will get engaged in the very near future, but insist they haven't started making wedding plans just yet.

An insider told PEOPLE.com that they "wouldn't be surprised" by a proposal, adding, "But she's not engaged - yet."

The duo, who went public with their relationship at Sean's third annual Help Haiti Home gala in January, were "inseparable" when they flew to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico for Valentine's Day weekend in February. "They held hands everywhere they went," an eyewitness said at the time.

The 53-year-old actor is set to direct his Oscar-winning girlfriend and Javier Bardem in The Last Face, which is expected to begin filming in Africa later this year.

Robin Wright admits her divorce from Sean Penn was "devastating."

The House of Cards star, who recently got engaged to her boyfriend of two years, Ben Foster, revealed she and the Milk star tried to save their marriage several times for their children, Dylan, 22, and Hopper, 20, before they finally split for good in 2010.

"Divorce in and of itself, and with children, is devastating. Worse than that. One of the reasons why we got back together and broke up so much was trying to keep the family together... and we did that for a long time," the 47-year-old actress said.

Robin, who has her new fiance's initial tattooed on her wrist and admitted she gets Botox, hinted that she and her 53-year-old ex-husband, who recently started dating Charlize Theron, are no longer on speaking terms: "Sean sees the kids. They see him. They see me. We've all got our own lives."

Sean Penn and Charlize Theron want to get married.

The couple - who made their first public appearance together three weeks ago - have only been dating a few months, but now the Milk star has moved in with his girlfriend and her adopted son Jackson, two, they are talking about taking their relationship further.

"Sean is head over heels in love with Charlize, and her son Jackson. He is a totally different person around Charlize, she brings out the gentle and fun side that not many people have seen of Sean. To see this previously surly grown man, romping around Charlize's backyard with Jackson, with a smile on his face would amaze Sean's detractors. Charlize is getting Sean to not take himself too seriously. The two began talking about marriage in the last few weeks, after Sean moved into Charlize's house. She has never wanted to get married, but seeing how Sean interacts with Jackson, she is having a change of heart. The pair were spotted soaking up the sun in their bathing suits over the new year as they spent time relaxing on a beach in Hawaii near the Gangster Squad star's home.

Madonna to Spend Christmas with Sean Penn?

Madonna will reportedly spend Christmas with Sean Penn after dumping Brahim Zaibat.

The "Material Girl" singer recently went on a charity trip to Haiti with the 53-year-old actor, to whom she was married between 1985 and 1989, and it's thought the pair may be rekindling their romance as she recently split from her boyfriend of three years.

"She needs someone who is more of an equal. She needs to be challenged, which Sean does. Sean and Madonna now want to see each other over Christmas and Madonna's even considering getting a place out in Haiti. They're in touch non-stop. Friends are joking they'll be remarried by this time next year," a source said.

Madonna, 55, was reportedly urged to split from Brahim, 25, after getting spiritual advice at the Kabbalah Center in New York City.

Sean Penn Screams at Fan

Sean Penn screamed at a fan who allegedly tried to take a photograph of him.

The 53-year-old actor was at the St. Regis hotel in San Francisco on Tuesday when he started shouting at the man who appeared to be using his mobile to snap a picture of the star.

A video posted by TMZ shows the two-time Oscar winner appear to lose his temper in the lobby of the hotel in the city's Financial District. A witness said the Secret Life of Walter Mitty actor lunged at the man - who wasn't believed to be a paparazzi photographer - and screamed, "Do we look like f**king zoo animals?"

In the video, he is then seen gesturing at the man and shouting, "I'll make you eat the phone ... Get the f**k out of here. Get out of here!" He is said to have then thrown the fan's phone on the ground before telling the hotel's manager, "You should do something about that." It has been reported the fan was asked by staff if he wanted to call the police but he said no and left.

Robin Wright Penn has filed for divorce in her ongoing back-and-forth with husband Sean Penn. After publicly trying to reconcile, it seems the couple cannot make amends. But this time around, it seems the pair is really ready to call it quits.

The papers filed say that “both parties have already agreed” on custody matters and that “the estranged couple have already agreed to division of all property.” Papers were also filed in 2007, which led to the (evidently failed) reconciliation attempt.

“I have no regrets,” said the actress. “We have two amazing children we raised together.”
